The stone 2022
‘The stone’ is a short film about a husband who tries to construct a suitable partner by sculpting his wife. ‘The stone’ is imbued with an east Asian patriarchal and sensually stimulating relational image, accompanied by a long and harmonious melody with a fretting percussion.‘The Stone’ predicts the fate of women under the patriarchy of East Asia, and is explained by being crushed and compensated. Privileged, controlled, subordinate, carved and constructed is a primitive and disturbing relationship.
